Paying it Forward

We’re just as passionate about equipping our youth with the skills of personal leadership, resilience and optimism. With them truly lies the future of our beautiful mother Earth. During our journey as Transformers, we’ve often received the following feedback from our coaches:

“Do you run courses for teenagers? I so wish my kids could benefit from your teachings!”

“I wish I had learnt this so much younger in my life!”

In 2016, we contributed to the Magic Moments Youth Leadership event as mentors. We were deeply moved when we witnessed first hand stories like the young man who said that a scholarship to this program had transformed his life from one that was having suicidal thoughts at the age of 13 to non-stop smiling after the program. Our daughter Courtney attended the program that year as a participant. We will also always cherish the magic moment we had when she come out of one of the segments, gave us a huge hug and said “I know what I want to do with my life!” Imagine having a vision for your ideal vocation at age 16!!

As they say, “give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish…” Personal development truly is one of the most priceless gifts you can give yourself and others.

Since then, EQ Strategist has provided 8 scholarships to youth (scholarships totalling $9,999.00) to attend this event and also contributed as mentors and speakers.

In addition, up to AUD $3.00 or 10% of net proceeds from every purchase you make of Dom’s book “What’s Great About This?”  How to be Resilient and thrive through Disruption and Change will go towards scholarships to this program.
